INTRODUCTION
This section contains information on maintenance and service
for the CM1000 Cable Modem Analyzer.
Battery Replacement
The CM1000 uses a user-replaceable nickel metal hydride
battery. Battery replacements are available from Sunrise. The
use of batteries other than those specifically approved may
damage the test equipment and will void the warranty.
Figure 5-1
The battery is easily replaced by removing four screws located
in the lower portion of the unit’s rear panel. The part number for
the replacement battery is ASY-12183-010.
