ADJUST
The Adjust (F2) function allows adjustment of the Pulse Width
using the Up/Down arrow keys, as shown in Figure 3-23.
Typically two pulse widths will be stored automatically,
depending on the mode and length of cable under test. Only
Pulse Widths stored may be viewed. After pressing the Adjust
(F2) function key you may also press the Left/Right arrow keys
to adjust the position of the second marker M2. As in the Manual
operating mode, the digital display measures the Distance and
Loss relative to the placement of the M2 marker. The correct
placement for distance measurements is at the beginning of the
rising edge of the reflected trace. The Loss measurement is made
automatically 1/2 the distance of the pulse width to the right of
the marker placement. Pressing the Adjust (F2) key again will
turn the adjust mode off.
