3. Use [+] and [–] to select FOLDER, and then press the shut-
ter button.
FOLDER is located in MENU 3.
4. Use [+] and [–] to select SELECT, and then press the shutter
button.
5. Use [+] and [–] to select the folder you want, and then press
the shutter button.
To move an image from one folder to another
Important!
Make sure the folder that contains the image you want to move is
currently selected before you start the following procedure.
1. Slide the function switch to the PLAY position.
2. Press the MENU button.

3. Use [+] and [–] to select FOLDER, and then press the shut-
ter button.
4. Use [+] and [–] to select MOVE, and then press the shutter
button.
5. Use [+] and [–] to select the folder to which you want to
move the image, and then press the shutter button.
6. Use [+] and [–] to select the image you want to move, and
then press the shutter button.
7. Repeat step 6 to move additional images into the selected
folder.
8. After you are finished moving images, press MENU twice to
complete the operation.

Playing Back Images
Image protection
The procedures described here tell you how to protect images
against accidental deletion. You can protect a single image, all the
images in a particular folder, or all images currently stored on the
memory card.
Note that you cannot protect or unprotect memory pages when pro-
tected memory pages are hidden (page 74).
To protect a single image
1. Slide the function switch to the PLAY position.
2. Press button.
3. Use [+] and [–] to select PAGE, and then press the shutter
button.
4. Use [+] and [–] to select the image you want to protect.
5. Press the shutter button.
This causes the indicator to appear to indicate that it is
protected.

To protect all images in a folder or all images on the
memory card
1. Slide the function switch to the PLAY position.
2. Press button.
3. Use [+] and [–] to select FOLDER (to protect all images in a
particular folder) or ALL (to protect all images on the
memory card), and then press the shutter button.
If you selected FOLDER in the
above step, use [+] and [–] to se-
lect the folder whose images you
want to protect.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 if you want to protect more images.
7. When you are finished, press the button again to
close the PROTECT PAGE menu.
The PROTECT PAGE menu also closes automatically if you
do not perform any operation for about 20 seconds.
