Caution
Once you install an ink cartridge, use it up within 6 months. Use ink
cartridges within 2 years of the production date.

Caution
DO NOT remove the Ink Cartridges when the printer is off. If you have
replaced ink cartridges while the printer is turned off, reset the ink
counter from the maintenance tool in the printer driver. If you do not
reset the counter the inside of the printer or the printouts may get stained
with ink.

Caution
Be sure to replace ink cartridges when the printer indicates ink empty or
nearly empty.

Caution
DO NOT shake the ink cartridges.

Caution
DO NOT leave the printer with empty ink cartridges or with the ink
cartridges removed.

Caution
DO NOT re-use ink cartridges you have removed from the printer.

If either of the Ink LEDs (
(BC)
LED and/or
(MY)
LED) and the
(Alarm)
LED is on after you have installed the ink cartridges, check
that the ink cartridges are installed correctly.
✒ Note
Every 5 days, the printer will clean its print head automatically when you
send the first print job.
