Maintaining and Servicing the Appliance

Before servicing:
Turn off gas.
Turn off electricity to appliance.
Disable remote control, if one is present.
Ensure appliance is completely cooled.

removed.

Obstructions of combustion and ventilation

Condition of logs.

The logs, pilot assembly and front of appliance should be
checked periodically for accumulation of soot. Clean pilot
and front thoroughly with an emery cloth. Logs may be vacu-
umed gently.
