CLEANING THE BURNER TUBES AND BURNER
PORTS (to prevent FLASH-BACK)
To reduce the chance of FLASH-BACK, the
procedure below should be followed at least
once a month in late summer or early fall when
spiders are most active, or when your grill has
not been used for an extended period of time.
1. Turn the burner valve off.
2. Turn the tank valve off fully. (Turn clockwise
to stop.)
3. Detach the regulator assembly from tank
valve.
4. Remove cooking grids, flame tamers and
grease collectors from grill.
5. Remove burners from bottom of grill bowl by
turning wing nut from beneath burner"foot".
6. Carefully lift each burner up and away from
gas valve orifice.
We suggest several different ways for cleaning
the burner tubes. Use procedure that is most
convenient for you.
