Operating Instructions
A. Before Lighting Fireplace
Before operating this replace, have a quali ed
technician:
Remove all shipping materials from inside the rebox.
Review proper placement of logs and lava rock.
Check the wiring and batteries.
Check the air shutter adjustment.
Ensure that there are no gas leaks.
Ensure that the ow of combustion and ventilation air is
not obstructed (front grilles).
A guard is recommended for the protection of young
children, the elderly or in rm.
Parts sealed by the manufacturer or agent must not be
altered by the user.
The fuel bed must not be disturbed, do not burn
rubbish.

IN "ON" POSITION

Switch must be in position shown in Figure 10.1 in order
for remote control to operate properly.
HOT SURFACES!
Glass and other surfaces are hot during
operation and cool down.
WARNING
CAREFULLY SUPERVISE children in same room as
appliance.
• Alert children and adults to hazards of high
temperatures.
High temperatures may ignite clothing or other
ammable materials.
Keep clothing, furniture, draperies and other combustibles
away.
Hot glass will cause burns.
Do not touch glass until it is cooled
