Service Information
If service is required, call your dealer or authorized service agency. The name of the authorized service
agency can be obtained from the dealer or distributor in your area.
Have the following information readily available:
• Model number
• Serial number
• Date purchased
• Name of dealer from whom purchased
Clearly describe the problem that you are having. If you are unable to obtain the name of an

by opening the door and looking under the control panel.

Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause and/or Remedy
Range will not function. Range is not connected to electrical power: Have electrician
check power circuit breaker, wiring, and fuses.
Broil does not work. Temperature control knob is rotated too far past
broil position.
Oven light will not work. Light bulb is burned out.
Range is not connected to power.
Igniters will not work. Circuit is tripped.
Fuse is blown.
Range is not connected to power.
Igniters sparking but no fl ame ignition. Gas supply valve is in “OFF” position.
Gas supply is interrupted.
Igniters sparking continuously after
ame ignition.
Power supply is not grounded.
Power supply polarity is reversed.
Igniters are wet or dirty.
Burner ignites but fl ame is large, distorted,
or yellow.
Burner ports are clogged.
Unit is being operated on wrong type of gas.
Air shutters not properly adjusted.
Strong odor and/or smoke is noticed fi rst
few times oven is used.
This is normal burn off of insulation and protective oils in
oven. This will go away after using oven a few times.
Oven indicator light on; oven will not heat. Oven is operating properly. Unit will resume heating
function once it has cooled.
