Grill Positions (Cont.)
Low Grilling Position, Continued: . Place the
Grill Base on the Base Frame by placing the
"slot" of the Hook Bracket around the Locator
Peg under the Base Frame. Align the hole in
the front of the Grill Base with the Locator Peg
on the front side of the Base Frame. Make
sure the Grill Base is secure. Place the Grill
Plate on the Grill Base. Slide the Side Trays
into position and attach the Drip Tray into the
slots. Attach the Propane Cylinder. See
'Attaching Propane Gas Cylinder' for details.
The Grill is ready for use.
Upright Grilling Position: This position is ideal
for patio use or any time you feel more com-
fortable Grilling in the standing position.
To transform the GP200RED from the Storage Position to the Upright Grilling Position, lay
unit down, with wheels on ground as seen in
Figure 4. Remove the Side Trays and discon-
nect the Storage Arms. Pull the Securing Rod
from its storage position. Raise the
Storage/Leg Frame upwards and hook the
Securing Rod into the opposing leg. Lift the
Grill Assembly. from the Base Frame, set it to
the side then raise the Frame upright,as seen
in Figure 6.
Place the Grill Base on the Leg Frame with the
Regulator on the same side as the wheels.
Hook the underside of the Grill Base to the
Frame with the Hook Bracket, then press down
evenly and firmly on the Base until the Spring
Lock 'snaps' into place. See Figure 7. Make sure
the Grill Base is secure. Place the Grill Plate,
Side Trays and Drip Tray in position. Attach the
Propane Cylinder as instructed in 'Attaching
Propane Gas Cylinder'. The Grill is ready for use.
Make sure the Drip Tray is in proper position,
and remember that the Grill should always be
operated with the Regulator on the left and the
Drip Tray in the rear.
NOTE: If the Lid is to be removed temporarily it
can be placed on the Base Frame as shown in
Figure 6.
CAUTION: Never use the Frame as a chair.
Never load anything on the frame except the
Grill. Never load over 6 1/2 lbs. (3kg) on each
Side Tray. It is advisable that two persons
assemble the grill.
