Burner Flame Appearance and
Adjustment

1. Remove the cooking grates from the gas grill.
2. Remove the ame deectors located below the cooking grates.
3. Remove the burner tube. Undo one screw and the mounting plate on the rear of the gas grill and lift burner tube
out.
4. Loosen the single setscrew that holds the venturi air shutter adjustment on the burner tube.
5. If the ame was too yellow and lazy in appearance then open the air shutter until a soft blue ame is achieved.
This ame should also stay on the burner tube as shown in Figure 28.
6. Undo the setscrew and rotate the venturi cover until a soft blue ame is achieved
7. If the ame is lifting off the burner tube and the ame sounds like a blowtorch this could be that there is too much
air being supplied, undo the setscrew and close the air shutter until a soft blue ame is achieved.
