How To Grill – Start Up
5. Grill grid is for grilling food. Personal
cooking Trays are for heating foods.
6. Turn unit to MIN. Unplug grill when
not in use.
NOTE: To melt cheese, lower the tem-
perature setting and melt the cheese
slowly. When the cheese is melted too
quickly, the oil will separate from the
cheese.
What Is Raclette?
Raclette (pronounced rah-kleht) is a
centuries-old Swiss meal, and the
name of the cheese used to make it.
Traditionally prepared over a fire, the
once-simple raclette meal has evolved
to include more complex ingredients
and the use of an electric raclette grill
like this one.
Like the coziness of sitting around a fire
together, grilling at the dining table with
family and friends encourages relaxed
conversation. With a raclette meal,
there’s no running back and forth to the
kitchen – everything that’s needed for
the meal is put on the table within easy
reach in advance.
Another benefit of raclette is that
everyone can “make it their way” in
their own dish with any combination
of ingredients. For that reason, it’s
easier to satisfy individual tastes with
raclette – there’s something for every-
one to enjoy!
