The unit will not raise?
Possible fault Solution
Dirt has built up in the gap around the
browning unit or something has
become stuck.
Remove the dirt or the object which has
become stuck.
The fuse or breaker was tripped. Contact a qualified electrician or Miele
Technical Service for assistance.
The unit will not heat up?
Possible fault Solution
The browning unit is not raised

Insert the ledge or postion it correctly.
There has been a power outage during

The appliance is not sufficiently cooled
down. The residual heat indicator must
be off.

The ledge is not positioned correctly. Postion the ledge correctly
When retracted, the browning unit continues to move slightly upwards
Possible fault Solution
An object has come between the
browning unit and the ledge
