Figure 12.8 Remove Valve from Valve Bracket
• Using two 3/4 in. wrenches, disconnect the burner supply
tube.
• Remove the two screws securing the valve to the valve
bracket.
• Disconnect the pilot and orifi ce tubes using a 7/16 in. and
a 5/8 in. wrench.
• Reverse these steps to replace the gas valve. Make sure
the ground wire is reattached as shown in Figure 12.8.
B. Battery Replacement
• Remove switch cover plate from the wall.
