GAS GRILL PROBLEM...

I BOUGHT MY GRILL A YEAR AGO, DONT USE IT VERY MUCH.ITS JUST ME AND THE WIFE.MY QUESTION IS WHY DID THE BURNER GO BAD SO FAST, AND THE PAINT ON THE INSIDE IS PEELING. I PAID GOOD MONEY FOR THE GRILL IT SHOULDNT HAVE GONE BAD THAT QUICK
