How to you use wood chips with this grill for a smokey flavor? I've heard that you can get a stainless steel container to put them in but where do you place this container? We tried a metal pan (set on the grill grate) and all it did is dry out the chips but no smoke.

0 Having an enclosed metal box works beter to hold in heat. The back of the grill gets more heat, so place the box there. If still no joy, put it over one burner, and turn that one burner to high, while leaving the others at your normal cooking temp.

0 Husband bought me the P3018 4 burner. I do a 12 hour smoke with pork on Saturdays, how am I going to be able to do this?
