control knobs recently started to get hot to the touch,is there any reason why

1 Mine did also. Yesterday the rotisserie igniter started burning. I called and was instructed to do a leak test to make sure gas isn't leaking and igniting behind the front panel. But I couldn't get any information regarding how to take off the panel to do a leak test.

1 What I think is happening is that the air flow sleeve is catching on fire. You just need to look under the front panel. Get on your knees and look up to the back of the control knob. You will see a flame. If this is the case you will need to take the grill face apart and move the sleeve so that it will not allow the gas to escape at that area. Just undo the screws until it comes apart. It is simple. If you take to many screw our, just put them back when you are putting everything back together.
