The LCD remote control that came with our fireplace just stopped working. I have changed the batteries in the actual unit and get a display on the screen but do not hear a beep from the receiver and the flame will not light with the remote. If I turn the fireplace on with the receiver (MAN) setting it works just fine. The unit has been used for two seasons. Any suggestions?
