We have a 9355 cordless phone/answering machine. The handset was left outside, where it had been partially in the rain overnight. Apparently that is the reason is does not work anymore. Battery was replaced but has not solved the problem. The empty handset had been placed on the cradle. Now there is a ticking sound similar to a clock ticking. What do you think is ticking. Can a replacement handset be obtained?
